In a world that is increasingly connected and always on the move, walking emerges as a unique opportunity to welcome, guide, and enrich both hearts and minds. Tourism isn’t just about traveling from one place to another; it’s an experience that embraces culture, spirituality, and human connection. The “Stabia-Sorrento” path aims to turn these fleeting moments into opportunities for spiritual growth, reflection, and a deeper connection with the roots of faith and identity. Through this lens, our itinerary seeks to create a welcoming and meaningful environment, where people can discover the beauty of spiritual traditions, appreciate the local history, and embark on an inner journey in search of purpose and authenticity.

The path consists of two routes: a high route and a low route.

The high route is more suited for hikers, climbing Mount Faito, a significant site for the worship of St. Michael and the devotion to Saints Antonino and Catello. From there, the trail follows CAI routes to reach Santa Maria del Castello, Monte Comune, and then Arola.

The low route follows the ancient Via Minerva, the oldest road connecting ancient Stabia to the Punta Campanella promontory, passing through Sorrento. This route creates a spiritual connection between the two patron saints of our Archdiocese, Antonino and Catello. Over 20 kilometers, it unveils ancient paths, villages, and alleys where time seems to stand still. It offers unexpected views, lesser-known by mass tourism, along with flavors, anecdotes, and stories waiting to be rediscovered.

In today’s digital age, we often find ourselves immersed in our smartphones and devices, losing sight of the wonder and beauty around us. Looking up from our screens becomes an invitation to rediscover the richness of small things: the architectural details of a historic site, the majesty of nature, the smiles and stories of people we meet along the way. This simple act helps us reconnect with the present, embrace reality with open eyes and a grateful heart, and rediscover the sense of wonder we often forget. In a world where technology often distracts us, looking up is a gesture of reconnection—with the world and with ourselves—allowing us to see the beauty around us and enrich our life experience.

Open your ears, listen, and welcome the world and the wonder of life.

Open your eyes to the beauty that surrounds you!
